An Apartment "Painted in Blue"

This apartment is located within a BBPR-designed building in Como, that featured some characterizing architectural elements that became guidelines in the design: for example, the blue of the shutters, so unusual, was re-proposed in different declinations.

The home is a vibrant and expressive space where art, books, and color interact with equally colorful furnishings, such as boldly colored sofa and an iconic statement fridge in the kitchen.

The variations in floor levels near the windows were accentuated with contrasting resin finishes, while warm original parquet flooring extends throughout the remaining rooms.

The bathroom, covered in blue resin, makes the most of its long and narrow shape by adopting a walk-through shower placed in the center which acts as a divider and, at the same time, connects two separate bathrooms: one for guests and one en suite for the bedroom.
