Junior suite for a historic villa on Lake Como

Situated in the park of a historic villa on Lake Como, this small building listed by Cultural Heritage was entirely rebuilt following severe damage caused by a collapse.

The intervention carefully preserved its original appearance, window dimensions, and distinctive single-pitched roof.
A linear kitchen is positioned near the entrance, accompanied by a small bathroom concealed behind a green-painted sliding door.

Due to the limited space, the design prioritizes flexibility, creating an open-plan layout oriented towards the full-height windows: living room with dining table, but also study or bedroom.

Reflecting its natural surroundings, the project incorporates color and decorative elements that echo the park’s landscape: from the floral decorations in the kitchen, to the wood of the parquet that gives uniformity to the living area.
