Renovation of a Retro-Style Apartment in Varese

This 50 sqm apartment, located in a historic building in Varese was renovated to accommodate a young couple and their child, with a focus on architectural, functional, and decorative solutions that optimize space to its fullest potential.

Given the limited square footage, the layout was reconfigured, converting a former hallway into a walk-through bedroom, effectively transforming the apartment into a three-room home.

Every detail of the project was curated to create a retro-inspired, elegant, and welcoming atmosphere. White walls are complemented by carefully selected colors from the Farrow & Ball palette, enriching the space with depth and warmth while maintaining a bright feel of the space.

Herringbone parquet was chosen to visually balance the irregular perimeter walls and iconic furnishings add a refined touch, while a suggestive Botteganove tile was installed in the bathroom.
